Around the World (Beat Ink song) : ウィキペディア英語版 | Around the World (Beat Ink song)
Around the World is a song concept produced and recorded by local producer Beat Ink in January–March 2008 and released sometime between April 1, 2008 and May 9, 2008. The song heavily samples ATC's Around The World (La La La La La) and uses urban, 2000s-style drumbeats. The song concept's release was used to mark the 8th anniversary of ATC's Around The World. The song would later span 40 recorded versions released on YouTube. == Background == Around the World's sample, ATC's Around The World (La La La La La), was produced and recorded by Alex Christensen in 1999 at RNT Studios, Sweden and first released on May 9, 2000 and performed well in the European and global charts. The Eurodance and Trance song, which features vocals from German pop group ATC (Joseph "Joey" Murray, Livio Salvi, Sarah Egglestone and Tracey Elizabeth Packham), is an international cover of Ruki Vverh!'s Pesenka (1998), a Russian Eurodance song. It would later be used for various covers, remixes and other versions. In January–March 2008, after listening to ATC's Around The World, unknown local producer Beat Ink took that sample and used it into his song concept. He finalized the song sometime before April 2008 and shared it to other producers and artists who opted to record their version of that song. The first version using Beat Ink's Around the World was first released on YouTube on June 17, 2008.〔()〕 The song concept also spanned several versions from The Emsee, Chris Webby, Oregonized and more.
